Qualified Supervisor

Remuneration package: £35,000-£40,000 gross salary per annum (depending on experience) plus potential bonus (to be considered after 6 months of employment).

We are looking to attain NICEIC accreditation for our service and installation teams and to quickly build the electrical side of the business through our existing client relationships.  We are currently looking for an individual to be responsible for attaining the accreditation and to act as our Qualified Electrical Supervisor.  You will also be responsible for technical advice and training on electrical engineering across the company. 

This will be an on the tools role working with the teams carrying out test & inspection, reactive and commercial installations with the training responsibilities as we grow the team.  We work predominantly in the Herts/Beds/Bucks and Greater London area. Ideally with experience in pumps and electrics, the successful candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and diagnosing and repairing faults, along with completing necessary service record forms for the equipment. Flexible time arrangements are considered. As deckpro is a 24/7 operation, night work is an option if preferred. deckpro is committed to paying market leading rates of pay to ensure we attract and retain the best engineers.

As part of a busy team, candidates must be able to work effectively with others to achieve team goals and meet customer expectations. When on-site, liaising with customers and building relationships are important to represent deckpro in a professional manner, therefore good communication skills, acknowledgement and adherence to site specific requirements such as Health & Safety procedures and the ability to demonstrate good product knowledge are valued. At deckpro we believe in on-going training, so we will develop and finance a personal development package for you, to ensure you have the knowledge, skill and experience to advance and progress.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • NVQ Level 3 diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment

  • L3 award in the periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations

  • Good communication skills and an aptitude towards training others

  • Good diagnostic skills

  • Able to work on own initiative

  • Full current driving licence and willing to travel

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the electrotechnical industry including 3 phase, industrial and commercial electrics
