Internal specification and bid engineer

 

Remuneration package: £25,000-£35,000 gross salary per annum (depending on experience)

  • Company supported training available (i.e. postgraduate further education)

We supply, install, maintain and repair all types of pumps and pump systems. Our mission is to solve any pump-related challenge anywhere, within the shortest possible timeframe. We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer who is keen to progress.  Suitable for someone with a mechanical or electrical engineering training who is looking for experience and an opportunity to kick start their career.

 

A positive and motivated internal specification and bid manager is needed to join our sales team, taking on some of the large accounts we work on and managing them on a day to day basis.  The successful candidate will need to specify quotations for clients based, then assist them in moving the project through to operations and successful completion.  They will also be required to proactively innovate to make sure a faster and more efficient solution is always provided.  Previous experience in pump systems is an advantage, although training will be provided.

 

Skills required:

  • Good communication skills

  • Proactive solution-finding ability

  • Reasonable IT proficiency

  • Previous experience in similar or associated industry an advantage, but training will be provided.
